Returns:

 

Damaged Goods

All orders are inspected prior to shipping to ensure that each item is free from defect. Our expert shipping team individually packages each and every item shipped; however, damage in transit may still occur. Please inspect any all shipments as soon as they’re received to ensure that the order arrived in pristine condition. If there are any damages, you have 5 business days from the day the order is received to notify our customer service department of the damage via e-mail  at info@homeindoor.com or by phone at 347-275-4075.

Once we receive notification of a damaged product, a replacement will be promptly shipped. In some cases, pictures of the damages may be required. Furthermore, the damaged item has to be available for pickup and/or inspection. Please note, you are NOT responsible for the return shipping cost of a damaged item.


Incorrect items/Missing items

 

Our technical specialists inspect each order prior to shipment to ensure that the correct items are shipped and that everything advertised is included with the order. If an item is shipped in error, please notify our customer service via e-mail or by phone of the mix-up so that that the correct items can be promptly shipped. Please note, you are NOT responsible for the return shipping costs of incorrect items.

If you feel that a shipment is missing items and/or parts, you have 5 business days from the day the order is received to notify our customer service department of the missing items. Replacements will be shipped immediately.


 

Exchanges

The customer has 30 days from the date the order is received to return any or all items for an exchange. Prior to returning an order for an exchange, the customer has to contact our customer service department via e-mail or by phone and obtain an RGA (return goods authorization) which is required to receive credit for the return. Any orders returned without an RGA will not be accepted.  In order to qualify for an exchange, the order must be returned in brand new condition and in the original packaging.

Please note, any return shipping costs are the customer’s responsibility; furthermore, if an item is damaged in transit from the customer, it is the customer’s responsibility to file a claim for the damages.

The return can be done in several different ways depending on the customer’s request. After obtaining an RGA, the customer can choose to place a new order and then ship back the original one. In this case, the customer would pay for the new items upfront and a refund would be processed once the original order is received back.  Furthermore, the customer can return the original order first and then apply the credit towards the new purchase.  Either way is acceptable.


 

Refunds

The customer has 30 days from the date the order is received to return any or all items for a refund.  Please note, there is a 20% restocking fee on any and all orders that are returned for a refund.  Please note, the original shipping cost is not refunded. Prior to returning an order for a refund, the customer has to contact our customer service department via e-mail or by phone and obtain an RGA (return goods authorization) in order to receive credit for the return. Any orders returned without an RGA will not be accepted.  In order to qualify for a refund, the order must be returned in brand new condition and in the original packaging.

Restocking fee can only be waived when the product is exchanged for another item of equal or greater value.

Once the order is received back, please allow 5-7 days for processing of any and all refunds.


 

Unclaimed Packages

All orders are promptly shipped to the shipping address provided by the customer. As soon as the shipment leaves our warehouse, an e-mail notification is sent out to notify the customer what carrier was used to ship the order and the tracking number. All orders can be tracked online or by phone.

It is the customer’s responsibility to accept the delivery. If, for whatever reason, the customer refuses delivery or does not make the necessary arrangements to accept delivery, the package will be returned to our warehouse.  If the shipment is returned, it will be treated as a return for a refund, and a 20% restocking fee will apply. Further, the return shipping cost will be deducted from the total refund.

  • Also note, the customer is responsible with all cost associated with unclaimed package. This includes return shipping, storage fees and any and all legal & court fees associates with an unclaimed package.


     

    How to avoid returns:

    In order to minimize returns and/or exchanges, it is important to read all of the descriptions and technical specifications before completing a purchase.  Furthermore, it is very important to have all the exact dimensions prior to making a purchase. Knowing the correct sizes will ensure that you purchase the right products and will thereby minimize the chance of getting something that will not work in the intended space.

    Cancellation Policy

    Please email our customer service team at support@homeindoor.com if you would like to cancel your order. If you would like to make a change to your order, please email support@homeindoor.com . Because cancellations and changes are time-sensitive, please email us as soon as possible to alert us to the situation. A member of our Service Team will send you an email confirming your canceled order. IF YOU DO NOT RECEIVE AN EMAIL CONFIRMING YOUR CANCELLATION, YOUR ORDER HAS NOT BEEN CANCELED! Please allow us sufficient time to check with our suppliers, distributors and factories to see if the order is able to be canceled—shipments in transit qualify as non-cancellable.

    Please note: There is a 5% cancellation fee for all orders that qualify for cancellation.

    Free shipping is only valid within the contiguous United States. The contiguous United States are the 48 U.S. states on the continent of North American that are south of Canada, plus the Distric of Columbia. The terms free shipping excludes the states of Alaska and Hawaii, and all off-shore U.S. territories and possessions, such as Puerto Rico
